Overview
SmartSpent is a personal-finance app I founded and built solo. It goes deep on the Apple platform — SwiftUI and SwiftData throughout — and uses Apple Intelligence to turn raw transactions into private, on-device insights.
The problem
Most budgeting apps are either bloated, subscription-heavy, or send your financial data to the cloud. People wanted something calm, private and genuinely helpful.
My approach
I designed a focused SwiftUI experience backed by SwiftData for fast local storage, then layered on Apple Intelligence to generate spending insights entirely on-device. I owned architecture, design, monetization and the App Store release.
The result
A shipped, privacy-first money manager on the App Store — proof I can take a product from a blank Xcode project all the way to launch on my own.
